The GB now consists all part of the celestial crown'd, in ray's book he makes a quote that these people that make part of the 144000 now in the GB (last revision COC 2002) are not necessarily more qualified for this task than someone that is not part of the 144000. I wonder how many people in the GB have a scholar level of understanding.

Well the more they keep digging that hole the harder it will be to climb back up. When internet didn't existed if they made a mistake they could get away with it and start all over again but not anymore.

i thought it would be an interesting exercise to ask everybody on here what their 'top 10 reasons why jws don't have the truth' actually were.

maybe we can see some correlating views/patterns/ideas that may help us de-programme the newbies that come on this site.

if eventually most people have an outstanding gripe/concern it'll help everybody understand the ex-jw mindset a little better.

i thought it would be an interesting exercise to ask everybody on here what their 'top 10 reasons why jws don't have the truth' actually were.

maybe we can see some correlating views/patterns/ideas that may help us de-programme the newbies that come on this site.

if eventually most people have an outstanding gripe/concern it'll help everybody understand the ex-jw mindset a little better.

Chalam- thanks, watched the vid and others, some points I already knew, others I didn't. I wish if someone would answer directly my points in the previous post . Did you understand hellfire or was designs just being sarcastic?

designs- what did you find wrong in the book? I like that he tries to uncover the NWT (green cover), but I have not studied it, watch most of Dr Martins vids and he always makes good points.

Also arent Jesuits members of the roman catholic church because last time I checked he does not believe in catholicism or the pope.

Mrs. Peck- I don't think that we can fully understand this concept as we don't have the capacity to understand GOD fully.

Gen 1:26 And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness (NWT)", who is us? you can't say angels. This may have nothing to do with trinity but nobody knows, there are other examples through the bible. On the other hand Jesus or the apostles never taught trinity, so the bible does not make trinity clear, it's something that early christians picked on and JW's overlook.

You said " .Jesus is God's son, he is not God", if I am son of a human, would that stop me from being human?

I was brought up in the "truth" but never bathtised, till I visited this site I believe JW to be the true religion, all my family are JW's.

First time I was on this forum, at first I assumed it to be an unofficial JW forum, started reading some threads and it sounded apologistic but them later on on the same day some topics didn't make sense to me, then I found out it was apostate and decided never to visited it again, but some things I read sparked interest, so first I bought two books by Late Franz (because he was old, did many years of service and left the GB which to me sounded odd than someone that was never in the truth or left for the wrong reasons and decided to write apostacy)

After reading the books, here I am, it was like taking the pill in the movie matix, at first I felt really sick, was lost and didn't know which religion to turn to(or if I was just not thinking things through), then I read Franz second book and felt better.

No wonder the GB tries to demonise the internet, apostacy etc, because they have no control.

I have been looking into trinity, from what I understand from a NT viewpoint Jesus is our God and GOD is our father?

SO could this be mean that when Jesus says "I AM" he's referring to himself being now our God? or

Also could Jesus be speaking as a title-being god?, e.g. Joey is president and Tom is secretary, but one day Joey feel sick for 1 day so Tom on that 1 day became president, Tom is not Joey but Tom became what I was in position/title.

Also according to trinity "these 3 persons are completely equal in attributes, each with the same divine nature"

Could this in harmony with the points made in Reasoning from the Scriptures?

Holy spirit is greater than the son of man - Matt 12:31,32

Father is greater than Jesus - John 14:28

God is more than Jesus 1 cor 11:3, 15:27-28

Jesus refers to Father as the one true GOD Joh 17:1-3

The book Kingdom Of Cults makes some very good points about trinity being true, but I need to deepen my studies for a sound decision, at the moment all of this is a bit confusing for me.

OUTLAW - Not nice.

With all the years of historic accounts there has not been one account that proves (evolution actually taking place) the theory fossil discoveries derived from evolution.

If evolution has been proven then Im sure that it can be tested with real DNA...but no.
